The AI and ML BootCamp, an AI ML bootcamp for beginners, says you don’t need prior Python or data science experience, and that’s true: Python and statistics are taught from scratch. But “you can start from zero” and “it will be comfortable from zero” aren’t the same thing. If you’re switching careers without a coding background, this post will help you judge whether you’re ready, and how to prepare if you’re not quite there.
What “no coding needed” means in practice
Python is covered in one module, the fourth of nine. Before that come three modules on analytics and statistics, which need logical thinking more than code. After it, every module is hands-on coding: data cleaning, model training, neural networks, image processing, and text processing.
Number of modules, grouped by how much code you write

So the real question isn’t whether you can code on day one. It’s whether you can go from your first Python program to writing data-cleaning code in a few weeks, while also keeping up with the sessions.
A readiness check for the AI ML bootcamp for beginners
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Are you comfortable with spreadsheets, formulas, and basic charts? | The analytics and statistics modules build on the same kind of thinking |
| Do you remember school-level algebra and averages? | Statistics comes first, and later models rely on it |
| Can you give the program about 8 hours a week, plus practice? | 80 hours over 10 weeks, and beginners need extra time to practice code |
| Have you ever tried to learn any programming, even briefly? | A little prior exposure makes the Python module far less stressful |
| Are you comfortable searching for answers when something breaks? | Errors are normal, and getting unstuck is part of the skill |
If you said yes to four or five, you can likely start without extra preparation. Two or three, prepare first. Fewer than two, start with a gentler introduction such as The AI Blueprint before committing to a bootcamp.
How to prepare in the weeks before
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 4 to 6 weeks before | Learn Python basics: variables, lists, loops, and functions. AgileFever’s 6-hour Python for AI course or any free beginner course works |
| 3 weeks before | Install Anaconda and Jupyter, and load a CSV file with Pandas |
| 2 weeks before | Refresh averages, percentages, and basic probability |
| Final week | Write three small scripts of your own, even simple ones. Writing code without a tutorial is the habit you need |
What a realistic outcome looks like
The program lists recent graduate to junior AI/ML engineer as one of its typical transitions, alongside moves from analyst, developer, and engineering roles. For a career switcher, the bootcamp gives you skills, projects, and a capstone. It doesn’t replace the time it takes to get a first role, which usually involves more practice projects, interviews, and sometimes a stepping-stone job such as data analyst.
That’s worth knowing before you spend the money. Analyst roles use the statistics, Pandas, and visualization skills from the first half of the program, and they’re often an easier first move than going straight to a machine learning engineer title.
When to choose something else
| If you… | Consider instead |
|---|---|
| Want to understand AI without becoming an engineer | The AI Blueprint (4 hours) |
| Want to build chatbots and AI agents rather than train models | GenAI and Agentic AI BootCamp, after you’ve learned some Python |
| Manage projects or products and want AI in your current job | One of the role-based courses, such as GenAI for Product Owners/Managers |
Cost and dates
The current price is $1,600 in the US (regular $2,000) or ₹85,000 in India (regular ₹1,00,000), with EMI from $66 a month. Upcoming cohorts start on October 26 and November 28, 2026, and run on weekday evenings or weekends.

FAQ
Do I need a degree in computer science or maths?
No. School-level maths and a willingness to practice coding are enough to start.
What if I fall behind in the Python module?
Live sessions are recorded, so you can rewatch them. Ask questions early; falling behind on Python makes every later module harder.
Is there an exam?
Yes. Assessment combines multiple-choice questions, projects during the program, and the final capstone.
