The DevOps Institute (DOI) considers certification to be a reflection of the calibre of your training. All candidates must complete approved DOI programs through a REP (Registered Education Provider) to be qualified to take the exam and preserve the value and integrity of the certification.
The candidate is designated as Continuous Testing Foundation (CTF) certified after completing (65%) the 60-minute exam, which consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. The DevOps Institute oversees and maintains the certification.
This course awards 16 PDUs from the Project Management Institute (Professional Development Units). (Even if DOI hasn’t yet received an official code to submit for PMI PDU credit, you can use the “Other” category on the PMI website. 1 PDU is awarded for each hour of instructor-led instruction. 16 credits would therefore be applicable in the DevOps Foundation example.)
The DevOps Foundation certification has a two-year validity period. After that, your certificate must be renewed.
